My name is Adrienne and I am the new Intern here at CRO. As a graduate of Slippery Rock University in Park and Resource Management, I wanted to take my education in a different direction than the typical park setting. Clarion River Organics gives me the perfect opportunity to give back to my community by growing and delivering organic and sustainable foods.
Well I don’t actually grow the food, but I do help to take care of it. For example, today I was out in the field helping weed the cabbage patch. It may not sound like the most fun thing to do, but when you are surrounded by great people it makes the day go faster. And remembering why you are doing it (so our customers get the best product possible) helps too. The weeding will make sure the cabbage and other crops grow to their fullest capabilities so that you get only the best.
After it was weeded. So Pretty!
Once the crops are harvested, I help to pack them up and send to you!
I look forward to a great summer here at CRO and hope to share my experiences with you!
